In Memorium

It saddens us to have to pass on this news.
Our dear, loving friend Ralphie has passed away.
I won’t go into details, but can only say that many of our customers had gotten to know and love Ralphie as much as we do.

Ralphie was loving, gentle , kind and always happy to see you.
There will be an empty place in our hearts now that he is gone,

Thank You

Regency Wine Store is now officially, Regency Wine Sellers !!!

What does that mean...Big, Big, Savings!

For those of you who haven’t heard, I am expanding into the adjacent space. The retail side of Regency Wine Sellers will remain as is, and next door will become a wine bar.

During construction we need to reduce our inventory. We have the opportunity to offer

you 10% off of any purchase, up to a case, which will then be discounted to 15% off.

The big sale begins Monday, May 7, 2012.

Rest assured, we will be open through all phases of construction. There will be minimal disruption on the retail side. We can’t tell you how long the sale will run,but it is temporary. Special Orders are welcome, as always. Don’t worry we won’t be without wine. Lastly, if you would like to recycle your wine boxes, we’ll take them. We’re going to need plenty.

A mail in rebate of $30, per case, is being offered until  5/31/12, on any wine from Franciscan, Simi, Wild Horse or Mondavi Wineries. You’ll need a receipt, showing the sale, and a coupon, available at Regency. Franciscan Chardonnay happens to be on sale this month for $12.99/btl. The rebate takes it to less than $10 per btl. FYI, it goes up to $14.99, in May.

Keep in mind, this coupon is good for any wine these wineries make. Take the time to look up these producers on line. They make some very nice higher end reds.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon                                                               Image

Napa Valley

Special Purchase  $29.99

It’s tough to find a Cab with some age on it these days. Most of what is on the shelves now is ’08 or ’09. Right now, if you have a 2005, it should be drinking beautifully. This one definitely is.

It’s comprised of fruit from multiple districts, which include Spring Mountain, Diamond Mountain, Atlas Peak and Oakville. It shows silky tannins and ripe dark fruit. It still has good structure and a nice round character. 23 mo. in 50% new French Oak/50% in once used French Oak 1000 cases

Happy Valentine’s Day !

Eternity.
The word can evoke many different feelings and can be the perfect way to express yourself. Such as deep loving feelings that say, “My love for you will last for an Eternity.” Or, “Eternity isn’t enough time to show you how much I love you.”  Or, “What was I thinking, this last 2 months seems like an Eternity.” And the beauty is, no one will ever know. So, share a bottle of Eternity on Valentine’s Day and figure the rest out later.

ETERNITY SPARKLING CUVEE, AUSTRALIA
Straw yellow in colour with an elegant nose of
lemon citrus, delicate herbal characters of thyme, lemon mint and fresh bread dough yeast. The palate is soft and lemony with nutty and creamy yeast characters and a gentle and persistent mousse. The finish is smooth and refreshing with a fine balance.   $12.99

NUVO is a blend of premium triple distilled French vodka infused with French sparkling wine (predominately made of Chardonnay with a hint of Pinot noir) and natural fruit nectar, thus creating…NUVO French Sparkling Liqueur. The feel is light and airy, not as carbonated as soda or bubbly as champagne, but just enough to twinkle on the taste buds. Possibly lilting and fresh is more accurate. Raspberry is the primary fruit flavor that flows through with likely hints of strawberry and peach. This is an excellent alternative for you lovers who desire a festive, sensual drink, other than Champagne. 375ml $13.99/ 750ml $23.99

 Cheers!

FYI…I found a fantastic 2009 Bordeaux for $9.99 that we’ll also be opening Saturday.
